Good footwork is the name of the game in rock climbing and these 12 footholds can boost your technique in vertical terrain all the way to the steepest sections of your indoor climbing wall. There is great variety in these holds and I shaped them for hardcore climbing enthusiasts to enjoy but also to be very kid-friendly.

This 12-pack of rock climbing footholds consists of 12 bolt-on holds. These footholds offer something for everyone: with big incuts, to flat shelves, sloping smears, and subtle divots.

Each foot hold is unique and offers something new to learn. I have climbed on vertical to 45° walls but some of the more positive holds could also work on roofs for a strong climber. Even on vertical walls, they offer a nice variety of easy to challenging while maintaining a comfortable stance.

Some of the larger footholds are big enough for crimpy climbing on vertical terrain, or, for small kid's grips on vertical terrain. I've included several pictures of a 5-year-old climbing a vertical kid's climbing wall on steep feet!

Like all Cryptic Climbing rock climbing holds, expect a semi-fine texture that is gentle on your skin but still offers solid friction. These are high-quality Polyurethane resin and every hold has zinc or stainless steel washer (s) built-in to the bolt/screw holes and are sanded flat on the back.

These are bolt-on holds, meaning they accept a standard 3/8" bolt that secures to a t-nut behind 3/4" plywood (this is a standard climbing setup).
